The Library is partnering with the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati to offer Design Lab: a weekly series of classes for 5th through 7th graders on architecture and design. In the program, we’ll use recycled materials to construct scale models of buildings that the students design. This year’s theme is PlayScapes. Attendees will learn about architectural concepts and work together with a team to build a custom scale model of their ideal playscape. The team with the best design will have it featured at the Cincinnati Public library, while the runners-up will have their models on display in the front lobby of the Lebanon library.
This is a weekly event, occurring every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00. The last meetup is April 24th. Sign ups closed for this event on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 5:30 PM.
