Home-school Event: Stop Motion Animation with Legos

November 17, 2017 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Steve Heglin

In this class, students will learn about stop-motion animation and camera techniques. The library will provide a camera and some legos for participants to use in their own stop-motion productions. At the end of the class, all the videos will be uploaded to social media and sent out in an email to share with friends and family.

Attendees and parents are encouraged to bring their own smartphone and download the app, Stop Motion Studio, to use during the class.

Participants may also bring some Lego minifigures and/or small pre-assembled sets to be used in their films. Any Legos brought to the class are the sole responsibility of the participant. The library is not responsible for any Lego pieces that are lost or misplaced.

Ages 7-13, children under 12 must be accompanied by and adult.
