Homeschool Event: Making Book Silhouettes

April 28, 2017 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am

The Library is offering bi-weekly Friday meetup events for homeschool children to get together and participate in STEAM-related enrichment activities. Every two weeks, we’ll give a brief presentation on subjects like 3D printing, coding, robotics, electronics, book discussions, crafts, and more.

This Friday’s event will be:

Making Book Silhouettes with the Cricut Paper Cutter- The Cricut paper cutter takes drawings that you make and turns them into beautiful cut-out creations. In this class, we’ll be making silhouettes of storybook pages. We’ll help you draw or trace the lines of your image, then upload it into the paper cutter. Bring your favorite scenes to life and leave with your very own work of art!

All attendees will leave with a cut-out print of their drawing. Depending on time, some attendees may have to pick up the finished print the next day.
