In this five-day session, attendees will learn all about 3D printing! We’ll start out with how 3D printers work, and then we’ll spend the rest of our time learning how to create a wide variety of 3D printable objects using Tinkercad. Throughout the course, attendees will work on different 3D modeling projects that can be 3D printed.

At the end of the week, attendees will have:

  • A portfolio of printable designs
  • A daily log of design ideas and key concepts from the class
  • One object out of their portfolio that they can submit to the library staff to print, free of charge, on one of the library’s 3D printers!

Ages 13 and up (no exceptions)

IMPORTANT: this is a five-day class, going until August 3rd. Please, only sign up if you are able to attend all five sessions. Registering for this event will sign you up for all 5 days. Please bring a laptop and mouse to use for the class if you have one. If not, you may use one of the library’s laptops. Feel free to familiarize yourself with the program we’ll be using by going to Tinkercad.com.
