This week’s meeting will cover portraits and lighting on a very basic level. We’ll have a makeshift studio set up that club members can practice with, so feel free to bring a friend to use as a model. We’ll cover the basics of lighting your subject and posing them for excellent portrait shots. Beginners welcome and no experience is necessary.

In this after-school club, aspiring teen photographers can meet and learn about camera techniques, editing tricks, and how to take Instagram-worthy photos. We’ll also go out on short photo walks around the City of Lebanon to practice photography. Club members will be able to submit their work for feedback from other members, and the Library will host a gallery of finished work every few months. Club members will also have access to free subscriptions of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, along with a brand new iMac to be used for photo and video editing.

8th-12th grade Meetings are every other week. Attendance is not mandatory for each meeting.
