Youth Programs

Our updated spaces in the Lower Level allow us to provide new kinds of programming for youth and teens, including:

  • Movie Matinees – Enjoy family-friendly classic movies in the comfort of our Story Time room.  Movies will be appropriate for younger audiences.  Monthly events.
  • Mighty Makers – A new afterschool program for kids K- 6th grade. This is a time for your kids to come, hang out with their classmates and do themed activities and crafts.
  • Maker Classes—Learn all aspects of coding and making with the Raspberry Pi as well as how to design and properly print with the 3D printer.
  • Home-school events – The Library is offering events for homeschool children to get together and participate in STEAM related enrichment activities.
  • Teen Club – We started a new Teen program, Planet Z, which will meet one Saturday a month. During the meetups, we do fun activities like movies, game nights, murder mystery nights and many other exciting things!

We have additional programming ideas in the development stage for children of all ages.  Please keep up with us on Facebook, subscribe to our email newsletter, and check our Events page.
