For this week’s meeting, we’ll be exploring the art of light painting. Light painting allows you to “paint” with light during a long exposure. Attendees are encouraged to bring interesting sources of light to use in photographs, such as glowsticks, flashlights, leds, etc.

In this after-school club, aspiring teen photographers can meet and learn about camera techniques, editing tricks, and how to take Instagram-worthy photos. We’ll also go out on short photo walks around the City of Lebanon to practice photography. Club members will be able to submit their work for feedback from other members, and the Library will host a gallery of finished work every few months. Club members will also have access to free subscriptions of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, along with a brand new iMac to be used for photo and video editing. No experience necessary, and attendees can bring any type of camera they wish, although this club will be mainly focused on digital photography.

8th-12th grade Meetings are every other week. Attendance is not mandatory for each meeting.Grades
